The Caserones project for Lumina Copper considers open-pit exploitation, with a concentrator plant to produce copper and molybdenum concentrates from primary sulfides and a solvent extraction and electrowinning (SX-EW) plant to produce cathodes from copper by processing oxidized, mixed minerals and secondary sulphides.
